About Us
DST 2007

Starting in the spring of 2007, Daylight Saving Time (DST) start and
end dates for the United States will transition to comply with the
Energy Policy Act of 2005. DST dates in the United States will start
three weeks earlier, at 2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March.
DST will end one week later, at 2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in
November.
Microsoft has released the time zone updates roll up to
automatically update the DST dates for Windows Servers 2003 and
Windows XP with Service Pack 2 systems. See the Microsoft
Knowledge Base article 913836 for details.

Manually Configure Daylight Saving Time Dates on a Single
Computer
For Windows 2000 severs and workstations, and Windows NT
severs, we need to manually configure DST dates.
To change the time zone settings on a single computer, use the
Time Zone Editor (Tzedit.exe). This tool lets you create and edit
time zone entries for the date and time settings in Control Panel.
